Pendulum Sand Art - Wednesday 28th October 2015

This was a combined session with the Visual and Sensory arts sharing a space and experimenting with all the different activities on offer. Click on Sensory Arts to see what else we did.

We used a pendulum and cones full of sand that swung and sprinkled sand across the floor as it was wheeled across the paper leaving patterns of sand on the floor.

A large scale collaborative piece of floor art.

Participants used powder paints, glue and sprayed water to create individual artworks.

Glue was dribbled and painted onto the paper first, then the powder paint was sieved, shaken, poured and tipped on top of the glue then water sprayed over the top.

Some very striking  pictures were created.
