Lantern Experiments - Wednesday 11th November 2015

This week Howard and Amanda came up with lots of different ways to make beautiful artwork using coloured acetate.

Howards work in progress.

Amanda make a fantastic sculpture using a wire frame with acetate shapes added on. It acted like a stained glass window when light shone through the colours onto the paper.

Amanda painted expressively onto an acetate sheet using acrylics.

The group had a lot of fun experimenting with shining light through the laminated pictures.

Howard made a second piece of artwork by sticking the acetate shapes down onto a sheet of white paper.

Work continued in the afternoon.

Annie made a laminated image which she could use to create amazing shadows by shining a light through it almost like a stained glass window.

Annie's painting onto acetate cast a watery shadow.

Chloe made a beautiful laminated picture.
