Rituals and Rangoli Art with glue and sand - Wednesday 14th October 2015

Drawing in the sand, Andrew used brushes on long sticks to create line and movement in the sand.

The Sensory and Visual Arts combined forces again, starting the session with a bell ringing ritual behind the screens. The group watched the ritual in shadows.

Howard and Richard used pastels, glue and sand to create these pictures.

Paul enjoyed tapping the sand onto the layer of glue, keeping in time with the music.

Some people dripped glue on with a spoon, which created a fantastic effect, others used brushes or drizzled it. The powder from the pastels added an extra bit of colour to the sand.
