Positive and Negative Shape, Individual Approaches - Wednesday 16th September 2015

The visual arts groups finding their own way to use squares of paper to create a picture.

Jon places the grey squares carefully on the paper.

Ben chose different size grey squares and chose where to place them.

Jon decided to draw round the squares and remove most of them. Ben stuck his down and drew on and around them. Andrew layered his one on top of the other. The group all took very different approaches.

Jon fills in the charcoal shapes with black acrylic paint.

Ben cuts the grey squares into new shapes and sticks them on his picture.

Andrew paints completely over the top of all the grey squares.

Jon's painting, the small red dots were the finishing touch.

Jon adding touches of yellow to last week's group artwork.
