A small group today. Annie, Jenny and Caroline creating the artwork and Andrea documenting.
We began by creating positive and negative spaces by arranging and re-arranging squares of card onto the cartridge paper, seeing the tension of the dynamics between the grey squares.
We then attacked the paper with loaded brushes, mixing paint as we went along from a palette of three primary colours
We then revealed the blank spaces creating newly framed squares ready for treatment
Annie liked to mix grey and deep tones
Jenny put in the final touch filling a square with a winged creature
