Using Symbols - Wednesday 20 May afternoon session
The group drew symbols to represent words like family and home working with natural materials to draw and colour the work. Jon and Howard created this image together adapting and altering each others drawings.

Picture weaving- deconstruct and reconstruct

Using the colour mixing skills we practised in other sessions we painted patterns onto paper, cut it into strips and created something completely different by weaving it together again.

Colour mixing Wednesday 29 April 2015

A back to basics sort of session, finding out about colour and what happens when you mix colours.

In the morning we used the three primary colours, diluted to a transparent glaze of lemon, blue and pink.  See how the layers affected each other.
