Both morning and afternoon groups experimented with instant design, using strips of cloth, buttons and sticks. People used this method to create portraits.

Textural clay pieces 11 Februay 2015 (afternoon)
Andrea invited people to feel inside a covered box and pull out something they liked the feel of. The objects were pressed into a slab of clay, then cut or curled ready to be fired into textured clay music objects.
Design a logo 11 February 2015 (morning)
This morning Howard and James used black sticks and cord (black, red and yellow) to create a variety of instant designs. This then led into having a go at creating a design for a new logo for LEVEL. See how the ideas progress:

Wednesday 4 February morning and afternoon workshops
Drawings inspired by cogs and spokes were made as a consequences exercise. Draw a shape then pass the paper on. Then some people continued with creating sound structures and others worked on paintings. Another industrious day.
